THE CLIENT

Air Blow Fans is a leading fan supplier and manufacturer in South Africa, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. They offer custom-designed mining ventilation and process plant systems, available in both a centrifugal fan range and an axial fan range. They also provide engineering services, refurbishments, spare equipment, remote monitoring and fan selection software to their clients.

THE CHALLENGE

Air Blow Fans had gone through a rebranding process with another marketing company, but they were not satisfied with the outcome. They felt that their website and other marketing materials did not communicate who they are and what they do effectively. They wanted a fresh and modern look that would showcase their products and services, as well as their expertise and innovation in an understandable way that relates to their target audience.

THE SOLUTION

By then we had already been working with Air Blow Fans for several months as content writers and digital marketers, so we had a good understanding of their brand and their goals. We began with a brand alignment process, which led us to tweak their logo and colour palette to appeal to the corporate eye. Furthermore, we revamped their design elements, created custom product icons, and even crafted line art drawings of their employees that reflected the same style as their key design element, an aerofoil – representing the movement of wind over a blade.
Their website was developed from scratch using our tried and tested website wireframe solution that ensures well-communicated brand stories and a good foundation for SEO and Google Ads. We used only photos of their products and installations (no stock images), taken during several photo sessions at their workshop in Springs and head office in Irene, Centurion, to give an authentic and honest impression of their work.
Not only did we design and build a website, with which they were very pleased, but we also redesigned and produced updated marketing materials in line with their brand identity, including product brochures, business cards, banners, signage and email signatures.
